Mr. Tatum I agree with you. People see you /me as the person we present. Most people don’t know what my ethnic background is, they see a good person who will hep you in any way I can. I overheard (at the recycling center) a conversation in Spanish that went like this, “I don’t know if I should give her the extra $.15. She looks Latina but she doesn’t talk or act like we do. Needless to say I didn’t get the extra $.15 because he couldn’t tell what ethnic group I belonged to. You see it was a rc owned and run by a Mexican group. I don’t care about ethnic group, it was all started by the government when we had to declare on their forms and employment forms, before that most of us didn’t care.
