The locals cops don’t understand that federal law provides that military personnel don’t have to worry about expired drivers licenses when they are stationed away from their home state.
That only applies to active duty personnel, not dependents.

I’ve known people who lost their license because of drunk driving, but they still drove and obeyed every traffic law to the letter so they wouldn’t get caught.

I still wonder why she had an expired Divers Lic in Texas , then a possible lic in Mass, then a possible lic in Virginia, but are now stationed in Florida since May 2024?? That would put their Residency in Florida Right??
Wouldn’t matter where the Spouse is Stationed, its where dependent claims as Home address. And yes, when I lost my lic. I obeyed EVERY LAW so as Not to attract attention.
