As I understand it, these migrant food trucks prepare food in very unsanitary conditions. They also syphon customers away from “brick and mortar” restaurants.
They have to hire American workers. Isn’t that a shame!
.-why food truck workers are persecuted by ICE ?
.-why the owners of these trucks are not confronted penalized ?
.-why the workers of food trucks are allowed operate and handle foods,
without being licensed by the city ?
.-why food trucks are not inspected by health authorities under the
same criteria used for restaurants and why food trucks are not
required to place the rating “A” “B” “C” on a visible place as it is
required from restaurants? double standard?
.- why, when I go to a restaurant, a Dentist, a barber, a bakery, etc. etc
there are all kinds of licenses on display? but that is non-existant as it
pertains to food trucks? double standards? poor inforcing of rules and
regulations?
.- where are the tax authorities when it come ensure that the many
Corporations and individuals who own food trucks, hot dog
stands and other street business are/or have complied with their
FEDERAL, STATE, CITY and Sales tax obligations ?
