Since Rudy Giuliani’s tenure, the quality of New York City’s mayors has continued to decline. Each time a new mayor takes office, it seems things can’t get any worse—but somehow, they do. Eric Adams has demonstrated inadequate and unprofessional leadership, making it hard to imagine anyone being worse than him. However, the voters of New York City have somehow accomplished the impossible by electing a mayor who is even less competent across the board than Adams.
New York will be wide open not only to the basic murder but to Islamic terrorism, and the bloodshed will be horrific.
