Like a bad neighbor, State Farm don’t care.
When I was in junior high, I remember a rancher’s house that burned down. This family was a small ranch operation. They were making ends meet. My Dad, a preacher, got together with the other denomination’s preacher, and the priest in our town. Men from these congregations rebuilt the house. The churches donated funds for materials. There is power through Christ and good men working towards a common good.

I got fucked over by State Farm back in 1977. Never had anything to do with those bastards since then. My area was hit by a major windstorm, not classified as a tornado but had winds of 113 mph, in 2011. When it came to rebuilding and repairing homes, a contractor told me State Farm and IMT insurance were the least cooperative in getting the homes rebuilt and repaired.
