I am a retired Electrical Engineer with 2 patents and an MBA. What Vivek fails to see is that Jocks tend to become athletes and many excel worldwide. Prom queens become beauty consultants or actresses or great moms or doctors – but successful.
Us nerds become scientists and engineers. Since we are passionate about our careers, we become great at it. We easily compete on the world stage. There maybe a FEW lazy, slow engineers and they are weeded out and end up if lucky as sales/marketing people. I hope someone shows Vivek that our American culture produces a wide variety of world class people because WE ARE FREE to make our own choices for life.
We need great welders, great machinists, great mechanics, great sales/marketing people, and others and our free culture not only permits this but encourages this in a hundred different ways. Not like communist countries that determine an individual’s education and career path.
Vivek is smart and hopefully he will see it and will win the Governorship. I would hope he leans on JD Vance to learn about America.
