If more people actually understood the true definition of a democracy, they would understand why the Democrats keep saying they are worried about their democracy being destroyed. In an actual democracy, the majority rules regardless of what’s at stake. If the majority votes to take away your god-given and or constitutional rights, too bad for you. In a constitutional republic, which we are, your rights are protected by law, regardless of what the majority thinks.
