That “stand your ground law” isn’t just limited to the South. There are Mid-western states that also have that, but Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota DON’T have that law. Those states are losing people just like New York and California are, but not as fast.

The pay may look good for an NYC cop, but they need to consider this, the pay is high in New York because the cost of living is high. Go South or the Mid-west the pay is less because the cost of living is less. AND they’ll actually be able to do the job they were trained for.
