I would have had a meeting with the parents. What can you do to help your child succeed in school and to succeed in life for a good paying job? I got my daughter and son a tutor for help, one in math and one in reading. There are volunteers who will do it for nothing. They both have BS degrees with good paying jobs now. You have to help your child succeed in school if they need help.
This shows why the public school system is a failure, but the dummycrats created this failure starting during the cowardly Clinton administration and has gone downhill like an avalanche since then.
THE MEETING SHOULD HAVE BEEN WITH THE TEACHERS AND THEIR PLAN TO ADDRESS LOW SCORES.
SOMETIMES THE TRUTH HURTS BUT IS NECESSARY TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE.
