Stephen King lives way up in Maine in a fortified mansion. He doesn’t have to deal with any of the dangerous Democrat policies. He gets to hide out and live in a fantasy land.
I’ve always believed that the very wealthy celebrities like King are drawn to the left due to an extreme guilt complex, and probably some level of fear, over how much wealth they have versus the average working class person. In reality, most of them are very much tied to that wealth and have no intention of giving it up, so they do the next best thing which is to virtue signal. This gives the impression of solidarity with the working class while actually doing absolutely nothing to narrow the wealth gap they claim to so despise. At their core, they’re true capitalists, but they build an elaborate leftist/socialist front to disguise that fact. I have no regard whatsoever for their opinions, which are always based on that illusion that they’ve created.
