Western Europe, especially after forming the EU, has behaved like spoiled children living with their rich parents. They have depended upon America to do the heavy lifting and paying for their well-being. After saving them from two World Wars and re-building Europe (twice) then protecting them from Russia during the Cold War, these spoiled brats spent their money on useless, feel-good social programs and forming Socialist governments that they can’t afford. They do not have the will or military power to defend themselves from China or Russia. They still depend upon America to defend them. Maybe it’s time to cut ties with these ingrates and take care of America first.
They need us, we don’t need them. And Greenland is still a little clueless on what is behind Trump wanting to secure Greenland as a whole. The bigger the western hemisphere is and the more together we can be, the better for all the those who want to be together. Think about what the Ukraine is going through, right now and the past two years or so. And they were not in NATO, although we helped them, even to this day….they were pretty much up for grabs to whoever, and unfortunately Russia is the whoever. You as the people of Greenland need to realize that what happened in the Ukraine can happen to you, and Denmark is basically a smaller country in NATO and their funding is not like that of the USA. As far as protecting the land of your ancestors.
I don’t fault Greenland for wanting to be independent of any country, but when the population is only around 60,000, they’re only the size of a small American city. They don’t have the population or money to get a real good economy going, even if they do have the natural resources to create wealth. I don’t blame them for being uneasy to become part of the USA. While a republican is in power, they’ll be fine, but what if the dummycrats find another stupid inept half dead shitpants candidate to steal another election? Greenland couldn’t survive it. This country barely survived it. The best thing Greenland can do is work toward becoming an independent nation but let the USA put up defenses that would benefit the whole hemisphere and mine the resources as payment for helping their country. They would benefit and so would we.
We should take Costa Rica and Italy too as the weather is real good there and it would make my vacations cheaper. Thailand would be good too as i love their food.

The deal maker did the job, without a shot fired, a little sarcasm, to get the point across. Now Greenland for once, has real protection, from the biggest Super Power to protect, that Artic passageway. That our adversaries of china and russia, doing quick work, to secure portions of ice, and land. We need our own ice breakers, with coast guard, checking for saboteurs. Trump is a genius, I never had a doubt , they would fold for his deal.
