…I had to pause the video for a moment to challenge Benny’s take on self published writers. I am a self published writer…and it is one of my proudest moments. I have some of my writing published in poetry books and internet publications…but to know my childhood memoir is available for sale across the internet…Amazon, Barnes & Noble…etc. is a great accomplishment for someone like myself. My book is well written, had a professional editor…and is considered by some to be a great basis for a film. Is my book the best thing ever written? No. But it is a compelling story of dysfunction and insanity while growing up in “Six square miles of the American Dream”. My memoir gives me credit for several Library of Congress numbers…and will represent me long after I’m gone. After all that…I should say that the book is called Webster Groves – The Life of an Insane Family. Oh…and I’m not a narcissist.
