Whoever dreamed up such a stupid commercial? It doesn’t show a car at all. They think they’ll sell ONLY battery powered cars by 2025? That too, is political suicide. Newsflash: Battery powered cars aren’t selling, as other manufacturers are finding out. Most folks don’t want them.
When out-of-touch executive make atrocious, brand-destroying decisions, they not only jeopardize their company, they destroy the financial future of all their employees. Imagine how dealers who paid a fortune to acquire a Jaguar franchise will suffer for this absurd mistake. How about loyal employees, looking forward to eventual retirement and a pension? The sad part is that while the innocent suffer the consequences, those who made this egregious decision will simply move on to other lucrative positions and suffer (as the British would say) “not a whit”.

GM’s chief idiot Mary Barra is doing a very good job of destroying GM. She burped that GM would sell ONLY battery powered cars. Now she’s having to back off on her idiocy because battery powered cars aren’t selling. They languish on dealer’s lots for months and the dealers still can’t unload them unless they sell them at a YUGE loss. People don’t want them.
