And yet there are senior citizens who worked their whole lives that cant afford food or medicine. Its absoloutely sickening
Some of the elderly and disabled people aren’t able to work out earn income and need this extra help for food. Believe me it’s never much money to feed a person let alone a family. SSI isn’t great money and most Social security is not enough to live on. Mental health issues is very disabling
