I have always respected the vote of the people. I like Biden, but I think he needs to step aside on his own. I don’t think he has dementia, I think he is just slow to answer and needs time to get his thoughts together. He has done his job, a good job, it is time to rest and enjoy life. Kamala Harris is a nice person, but not presidential material, she did not take control of the border when she was instructed to do so. If she had done this, it would have taken a lot of weight off the president to do other things. The running mate is just as important as the presidential candidate. Governor Newson has been mentioned. I would NOT vote for him. Look at California, it has gone downhill. I don’t want him spreading his style of governing across America, we would be worse off than before.
I don’t think Trump is a horrible person. I think just like Biden he cares about America. I think he would agree that he has a hard time not talking when silence would be better at times. He has a hard persona and he needs to gentrify that. We also do not want a dictatorship, authoritarianism, or martial law. He needs to speak to what all the people want. Border control , yes, peaceful negotiations with other countries, yes, supporting and staying in NATO, yes. I think in other areas he is okay. Everyone needs to pull back on spending and America needs to start manufacturing again. I didn’t like NAFTA when it went through and I still don’t.
This leaves us still up in the air. People can change.
And please remember Social Security is earned by workers. Workers put their money in and their employer puts their money in, just like a 401K. The Government does not put money in. Social Security is not allowed to borrow from the Federal Government, but the Federal Government IS allowed to borrow from Social Security and pay back with interest. There needs to be some kind of law to protect Social Security and Retirement Funds which American have worked hard for during their working years so they can survive during their retirement years. They have paid into and earned both. Leave them alone and don’t dip into them or increase taxes on withdrawals. It’s already hard enough to retire for the middle and lower classes. Don’t make old people mad.
