Tough shit. Wasn’t it racist when Karmelo stabbed Austin Metcalf, who was white? Karmelo needs to rot in jail. The question is, who will be Karmelo’s next victim? In a civilized society, we don’t stab people with whom we have a disagreement.
People are forgetting why there were no black people on the jury. That’s because all the black people that were interviewed all said they weren’t going to convict and put a black man in jail. That is why there were no black people on the jury. He admitted he did it, he was an angry young man and had anger issues according to his girlfriend. He’s guilty and in my opinion he should have gotten life.

I disagree that if he got a fair trial he would have gotten life. Having gotten a fair trial would have meant execution.
If the trial was really fair he would have gotten life with no chance of parole. He killed a person in cold blood, he’s had a life of crime and, up until now, has gotten away with it. Had action been taken at a much earlier age he may have had a chance for a normal life. It’s too late now. He committed a heinous, cold blooded crime and he must be held accountable. Just as anyone would and should be.
