Well surprise, surprise, surprise! They have been here since the 1950’s! I was born in Milwaukee. My parents were born in New Orleans. My Dad chose to settle in Milwaukee in 1950 because he was pursuing a degree in Engineering and wanted to attend MSOE, Milwaukee School of Engineering on the GI bill. He overheard some of his classmates speaking French Creole and he befriended them. He invited them to our house for shrimp boil and gumbo. I grew up with Haitians! Better company than white trash any day!
They’ll become Canada’s problem.
Canada can have them all
