I was tempted to state “It’s too bad they don’t teach history in public schools.”, but the reality is they no longer teach in public schools, they indoctrinate.
I grew up on the East coast as a third generation American. There is no way we could escape knowing the reality behind the propaganda, but a lot of adults tried to shield children from the horrific details.
When I was eight years old I wandered over to the adult side of our local library and found a book titled “Christ in the Communist Prisons”; a librarian approached me and said I was not allowed to check out any adult books and asked me to hand it over. I did and she nodded and said she could make an exception. I took it home and read every page. Looking back I realize that I wanted to learn some of the facts behind the whispers. I always knew I was fortunate to be born an American, but I finally knew exactly why. I have never looked back and I never will.
Was Bill Mahar campaigning AGAINST Mamdani during the election? And who else was there to vote for. Wasn’t there a career crooked politician running against a dedicated American-hating, Israel-hating Muslim? What a choice! Either bad or worse.
