there is no such thing as “armed shoplifting”, it’s called “armed robbery”.
So criminals steal, assault the innocent and then get away in a MERCEDES car and politicians feel sorry for them??? That’s beyond insane and one of the many reasons why NYC is the worst places to live.
There should be some way to simply spray this crowd from a helicopter with some kind of irritating spray that will disperse them. Then cops can close in and arrest some of them.
The ones who are arrested face 20 years in jail, no exceptions.

too bad that they can’t just shoot looters on sight…..cheaper than sending them to jail where we have to feed and take care of them.
Give the thi-ves jail time even for st-aling a $1 item and they will never do it again or place them in ins-ne asyl-ms for treatment. Nobody should have any sympathy – increase jail time for subsequent thefts. Arm-d robb-ry should be life in pr-son.
