My family left Pakistan 50 years ago and came to the USA because we believed this was the last place on earth for being truly free. That has changed so drastically in the past six years, that it almost feels like we’re back in Pakistan, where former Presidents are indicted and imprisoned on baseless charges. They even hanged President Bhutto whose daughter Benazir was assassinated after she became the first female President.
A government strong enough to fix everything in your life is strong enough to ruin everything in your life. Smaller government and personal accountability is what we need.
