If anyone can pay reparations it’s the Vatican, they have trillions stashed.
Mayor Johnson is an idiota. I suppose the taxpayers paid for his ego trip to the Vatican. Duh, what’s the pope supposed to do about it? He may have been born in Chicago, but he doesn’t live in the USA anymore.
I still can’t fathom how anyone thinks they are entitled to the US paying out reparations for anyone so far away from slavery in this country as we are. In fact, why don’t those that think they deserve it first look to their own past tribal chiefs for initially selling their own people into the slave trade during a time when slavery existed throughout the globe for many, many different reasons, i.e., indentured servitude, etc… also, they need to educate themselves with what occurred on the Barbary Coast. Slavery was barbarism. Don’t get me wrong, anyone that could do this to another human being needs to be shot in my book because nobody has the right of supremacy over other human beings. Nobody. We are all children of God, act like it. Instead of being stuck in the past and in reverse, try looking forward to better our world. Be kind to one another, and stop the hatred.
